Interview with Olyn Moon
Olyn has been a prolific writer for years, blending genres in creative ways. For his first release with SthenoType we wanted to sit down and get to know him a bit better.
What's on your 2024 reading list?
Truthfully, Not a lot at the moment. I’m more working on the next things I am writing.
What inspires you to write?
It really just centers me. When things get rough, writing gets me through.
If you could travel to any fantasy world, what would it be, and what would you do?
Pokemon World. I grew up with it, I still play it all the time. Traveling the world with a Pokemon partner to try and catch every single one would just be what I do in the games. I gotta make sure I have a living dex, and I would have the same if I was in that world.
How does it feel to get your first (published) book out into the world?
Surreal. It still doesn’t feel real yet. Kinda just waiting for someone to jump out and yell Punk’d. It’s been the goal since I was reading Goosebumps for book reports in 3rd grade.
What else should we know about you?
I also make Youtube content. Though the last few months it’s been lacking, because of writing.
